Emotional Integration is conscious suffering—the process of fully experiencing our negative emotions, which dissolves our hold on them and their effect on us.

Our thoughts and emotions are of the body, not of the soul. The result of this process is to sit in the true self, living without drama, on the path to enlightenment. We remember that we are souls having a human experience.


Five States of Being:

  • Breathe (Physical plane)
    The first step in Emotional Integration is breathing. Breathe deeply without forcing the exhale. Let the breath flow naturally. Watch the breath, being conscious and paying attention to your breathing.


  • Inhabit (Vital plane)
    The next step is to be aware of an emotion that you are feeling or have felt lately. If you can’t feel the emotion, just pay attention to what might be blocking or preventing you from feeling it.


  • Feel (Emotional plane)
    Once you have identified or felt the emotion, just sit in it. Don’t resist. Allow yourself to feel deeply and become the emotion. Don’t analyze, just breathe in the pain while focusing on your body. Continue breathing until the pain diminishes.


  • Observe (Mental plane)
    As you observe, the pain starts to dissolve. Continue observing until you become conscious that there is less pain. You may still feel the emotion, but you are less and less attached to it. Breathe and relax.


  • Happiness (all the planes)
    Now it’s time to fill with happiness. Take long, slow breaths. Each time you breathe in, fill yourself with happy faces. Your physical body is filled, your vital or energy body is filled, your emotional body is filled, and your mind is filled. You feel so happy and complete. Rest and relax in happiness.

The daily practice of Emotional Integration frees us from suffering and accelerates our spiritual evolvement through expansion of consciousness. We recognize the causes of suffering and learn how to transform suffering into joy.
